UPDATE (5/7): The DSC has been updated because of today’s Tigers game being rescheduled due to inclement weather, as well as the time for Game 6 of the Red Wings/Ducks playoff series (this caused the Tigers/Indians game to be moved to FSD+). Please download a fresh copy.

UPDATE (5/14): I have added the Red Wings/Blackhawks schedule. If the series goes beyond four games, I’ll update it once again once the start times and television networks are announced.

With the Tigers’ spring training in full force there is at least one game every day. I have added TV information for those with sports packages on their television providers for Tigers games that won’t be aired live on Fox Sports Detroit or MLB Network.

This month features a new background design. It is the same one used on my Weathered Wood wallpaper designs.

Along with the new design comes some changes in the wallpaper resolutions that I offer. Added are 2880 x 1800, 2560 x 1600 and 2560 x 1440. To add these new resolutions, I had to get rid of three very seldom used ones: 1680 x 945, 1400 x 1050 and 800 x 600.

With the new year comes old logos. January is part of my biannual “Retro Month” series, featuring vintage sports logos and fonts. In cases where retro logos were not available, I opted to use secondary, alternate and partial logos.

Retro Month would not be possible without the brilliant Chris Creamer’s Sports Logo Page and ColorWerx.

If the NHL does agree to a deal at the 11th hour and there will be a 2012-2013 season, I will make a Red Wings wallpaper as soon as I can.

I had to tweak my design from last year due to the new playoff setup. At least the colors are a lot less ugly this year.

I will update this wallpaper after every series is completed until a new champion is crowned.

UPDATE (10/6): St. Louis and Baltimore have advanced to the NLDS and ALDS, respectively. Umpire Tom Holbrook has assured everyone that the wild card will be a three game series next year.

UPDATE (10/13): The ALCS (Detroit and New York) and the NLCS (San Francisco and St. Louis) are set and have been added to the wallpaper.

UPDATE (10/18): The Tigers have swept the Yankees to advance to the World Series. The wallpaper has been updated.

UPDATE (10/23): The Giants have defeated the Cardinals in seven games to advance to the World Series. The wallpaper has been updated.

I may have gone crazy here as I’ve decided to expand operations to teams playing in prominent leagues in Michigan and Toledo (yes, I’m planning on adding Toledo Mud Hens and West Michigan Whitecaps baseball schedule wallpapers in 2013). Please do not ask me for any other team as I’ve increased my workload enough as it is.
