0-16. I’m still alternating between laughing and feeling sad. At least the Lions won’t be crapping up the Detroit sports scene for a while. The Red Wings and Pistons will be by themselves on the DSC until Spring Training rolls around for the Tigers.

I carried over the “retro month” festivities from the schedule wallpapers to the DSC with the same classic logos and retro font.

In honor of the Winter Classic, I have made retro-styled wallpapers for the Pistons and Red Wings for January. You will find a classic logos and an old school font. I even used retro TV network logos (where possible) I really went all-out on these! Retro month seems to be the most popular of all of my designs.

As far as the Spirit, the logistics prevented me from going full retro. There just aren’t enough good quality classic logos out there for OHL teams (not to mention the possible unfamiliarity with Saginaw being a relatively young OHL town). I used the same font as the Pistons and Red Wings wallpapers and utilized the shoulder logo found on the 3rd jersey.
